One-on-one sessions by occupational therapists improve handwriting, motor skills, and confidence—designed for all kids, including those with learning differences.

Sessions are 1:1 through Zoom for ages 4 – adults using the First Strokes Handwriting Programs. 

About the Clinic

At The Handwriting Clinic, we believe every child deserves the tools and confidence to succeed. Since 2002, we’ve been dedicated to helping children improve their handwriting and fine motor skills, offering personalized support and expert guidance. While we no longer operate out of a physical location, our commitment to your child’s growth and success remains as strong as ever.

Today, we bring our expertise directly to your home through teletherapy. Our teletherapy sessions, led by experienced occupational therapists, provide individualized support tailored to your child’s unique needs. With the active involvement of parents, we’ve seen remarkable progress in our students. For families seeking flexibility, our online courses are a cost-effective, guided way to work with your child at your own pace. These include detailed video and written instructions, as well as workbooks and supportive materials to ensure you have everything you need for success.  Parents can also purchase handwriting workbooks online through The Fine Motor Store on Teachers Pay Teachers. Workbooks come with instructors manuals and resources.

We understand that every child is different. Whether your child struggles with handwriting legibility, fine motor development, or has special needs, we’re here to help them reach their potential. If teletherapy isn’t the best fit for your family, we’re happy to recommend alternative resources or clinics that might better serve your child’s unique needs.
